Evan Antonellis
Pianist and Composer

Evan Antonellis was born in New England and was trained as a pianist and composer. He obtained his doctorate from Manhattan School of Music, where he represented his graduation class to receive the prestigious Helen Cohn award for outstanding achievement.  He has won several prizes, including a 2013 Tanglewood Fellowship, where he worked with members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.  He has also won a MacDowell Fellowship, the Nicholas Flagello award for outstanding achievement, and a fellowship at the Ostrava Days Music Festival.

He currently maintains a private studio in Los Angeles, and most recently taught summer sessions at the Young Musicians Program at the University of California, Berkeley.  He was also an Assistant Professor at Ohio University, having previously taught at Manhattan School of Music.  He has lectured on at Manhattan School of Music, Columbia University, and Janacek Conservatory in the Czech Republic.
